How we handle your data

Plain language. This site collects sensitive personal accounts, so we treat your data with care and in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP).

What we collect

• Your account email (to let you sign in and manage your submission).
• Your story text and any attachments you choose to upload.
• Optional details you provide: city, industry, tenure, and a display label.
• For support signals: optional category, city, a short note, and email — all optional except a consent checkbox.
• Your consent and its timestamp.

Why we collect it

To build an anonymized picture of a pattern of unfair termination and verification misuse, and to use that picture to push for fairer rules. That is the only purpose.

What we never do

• We never publish individual stories or share them externally in any individual form.
• Only anonymized aggregate statistics ever leave the system, via an admin-reviewed report.
• We ask you never to name people or companies, and we remove such details in review.
• We do not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs. Share buttons are plain links.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your submission at any time by writing to our Grievance Officer below and quoting the reference number shown to you after you submitted. We honour deletion requests and remove the story and its attachments.

Retention & storage

Raw stories are kept only as long as needed to review and maintain the anonymized aggregate. Attachments may be purged after review, since the reviewed, anonymized summary is what the pattern needs. Data is stored on infrastructure in an India region where feasible, with backups kept within India.
